Cornbread Without Eggs recipe

– 1 cup cornmeal – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/4 cup sugar  – 1 tbsp baking powder – 1/2 tsp salt – 1 cup milk  – 1/4 cup vegetable oil  – 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Ingredients

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Prepare a square baking dish or a cast-iron pan with a nonstick coating.

STEP 1

Cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt should all be mixed together in a big bowl. Combine thoroughly by whisking.

Pour the milk, vegetable oil, and apple cider vinegar into a separate basin and mix them together. Allow it to sit for a few minutes so that it forms a small curd.
