The Ottawa County Health Department operates door-to-door bus transportation Monday through Friday to any County resident for health care and shopping throughout Ottawa County and to Salina. 24-hour notice is appreciated, particularly for out-of-county trips.

- Cost $2.50 per round trip within Minneapolis, $5 per round trip to Salina or destinations outside Minneapolis.
- Ticket books to all destinations are available: Ten, $2.50 tickets for $20 (one free ticket!)
- Rides within Minneapolis to the Golden Wheel Senior Center: .35 cents per ride and or, ticket books for this ride: $7.00 for 25 tickets.
- All drivers are trained and buses are equipped for the convenience of physically-challenged riders.
- Service also connects users to the 81 Connection and the Salina CityGo bus systems.
81 Connection
Public bus transportation is available three times a day, Monday through Friday, along the U.S. 81 Highway corridor from Belleville to Salina, including stops at Casey’s General store in Minneapolis.

X 20ft. of well-maintained asphalt. It is managed by Ag by Air, a resident business adjacent to the runway. Dawn to dusk, April through November operation is recommended; the runway is not lighted and snow removal is not provided. Parking and tie-downs are available.

Salina Regional Airport (Salina Airport Authority)
Located 28 miles south of Minneapolis, Salina Regional provides services and aviation fuel for personal and business aircraft, including jets and military aircraft, year-round. The primary runway at 12,300 feet; there is ample aircraft parking. The airport is the home base for a wide variety of businesses and operations. Commercial passenger service is provided by United Airlines, offers non-stop and round-trip service to Chicago, Monday through Friday and Sunday. One-stop service to Denver (via Hays, KS) is available every day. |
